Avocado & Jalapeño Cream Sauce (for tacos & salads, etc.)

This avocado & jalapeño cream sauce is the perfect complement for your tacos, quesedillas, nachos, fajitas, burritos, salads, or anything else your heart desires! All you need is 5 minutes and a blender. Makes 6 ounces.

Equipment

  • blender
  • Squeezable condiment bottle (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 avocado frozen (see notes)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Remove the seeds from the jalapeño (if you don't want it very spicy).
  • Juice the lime.
  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Use this avocado & jalapeño cream sauce on anything your heart desires!
  • Put avocado & jalapeño cream into a squeezable condiment bottle for serving, if desired.

Notes

*Did you know that avocados freeze beautifully? When they are perfectly ripe, cut them into quarters and freeze them! You can use frozen avocados directly from the freezer for this recipe.
